Retirement can be enjoyable for some and stressful for others.  According to the Social Security Administration, over 50% of the people who retire at age 65 retire broke and need to work or get support from friends and family to make ends meet.  It's no wonder then that on a list of 40 top stress producers, "retirement" ranks in a high ninth place - not far behind the death of a spouse.

 

We provide a variety of educational and informational workshops designed to help pre-retirees figure out where they are financially, where they want to go, and how to create the plan they need to productively and confidently reach their retirement lifestyle goals.

These interactive workshops utilize adult learning methodology to build financial skills and confidence and attendees will: 

  • Identify different estimates of the savings they might need for retirement to maintain their current standard of living. 
  • Clearly define and priortize their financial goals based on their values. 
  • Estimate what they can expect from Social Security and medicare.
  • Evaluate various investment strategies, learn how to organize their estate planning and other legal affairs, estimate future expenses and retirement income in a spending plan and more!

These educational workshops are designed strictly to educate and inform your employees on important financial related topics.  Attendance is generally on a voluntary basis, and no “selling” takes place during these workshops.  Our objective is to provide your employees with complete, unbiased information that will enable them to take advantage of the financial planning tools available today.  Some will do so.  Others will opt to not do anything at the moment.  It is totally their decision.  But at least they will have the knowledge needed to make the best decisions for themselves and their families, both today and in the future.
